Chris Fils, a managing director of Raymond James, was inducted into Rotary Club of Chicago on Tuesday, October 17. He has been a part of Rotary for 8 years and was previously a member of the Rotary Club of Lakewood Ranch in Florida, before moving to Chicago about a year ago.
Chris first got to know Rotary while in high school in Fort Meyers, Florida. The Rotary Club in Fort Meyers awarded Chris a $500 “Student of the quarter” scholarship for playing basketball. He happened to win that scholarship more than once. Ever since, Chris has always been determined to give back when he finished college.
To Chris, Rotary has become family. He is excited to be in Chicagoland and be part of ROTARY/One. Chris stated in his induction speech that he is looking to do good things in Chicago. Click here to connect with Chris on LinkedIn.
